The filter press is the oldest and most widely used filtration equipment. It can be used widely because it is practical, automatic discharge systems, close to dry cake can be obtained and it can easily take place in different processes. Its area of use is quite wide. It is used in mining, food, chemical, biological and physical treatment facilities.
The filter press ensures the separation of the solid materials in the wastewater generated in the domestic, industrial wastewater treatment plants and production processes, their stable removal and separation as solid liquid through cloths.
It is aimed to keep the mechanism and water quality stable by separating the sludge, sand and other solids from the mechanism with the filter press. Filter presses, defined as sludge treatment system and dewatering machine, are widely preferred in both environmental engineering and fabrication processes.
What is Filter Press Plate?
It is to dewater by reducing the amount of water contained in the solid material in filter press systems. During this process, chemicals are added to the sludge. By means of this substance, the amount of water in the sludge is reduced. The volume occupied by the sludge with an increased solids ratio is reduced.
Filter press plates used in filtration processes form the filtering chamber where solid-liquid separations are made. The separation of the solid-liquid mixture in the filter press plates by means of cloths constitutes the filtration process. It works with the logic of throwing the liquid substance out of the mechanism. In case of need, minor changes can be made in the filter press plates and changes can be made in the separation and dewatering process.
Filter press plates are widely used in different industries. Usage areas of filter press plates are solid-liquid treatment plants, chemical industry, food industry, oil filtration factories, marble production factories, paper and recycling industries.
Chamber Plates
Chamber plates, which are among the filter press plate types, are the most used filter press type. Chamber plates fill the volumetric space formed between the hydraulic power and the plates by using the pressure power of the pump and provide the separation of the liquid substance from the material. Chamber plate types are widely used in filter press sections of facilities such as mines, marble treatment plants, treatment plants, zinc phosphate protection.
