Separation of solids caused by waste water treatment plants and other production processes ensures their regular removal. This separation is achieved through glands. <a href=\"https:\/\/eksenaritma.com.tr\/en\/chamber-plates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Filter press plates<\/strong><\/a> are used in filtration processes.<\/p>\n<p>The range of use of filter presses, known as sludge dewatering machine or sludge treatment mechanism, is quite wide. Filter press and sludge dewatering methods are used in industries such as environmental engineering and fabrication. It is applied in order to separate substances such as sludge and sand, which are formed in wastewater treatment plants by filter press, from the plants.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Working Principle of Filter Press<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>The filter press mechanism consists of several parts. These parts are filter press metal parts and filtering unit.<\/p>\n<p>F<strong>ilter Press Metal Parts:<\/strong> Filter press metal parts are the system that provides protection from mechanical problems that may occur in the filter press. This component ensures the correct and practical operation of the filter press mechanism.<\/p>\n<p>Filtering Unit: The filtration unit can be defined as the systems that do the main work in the filter press mechanism. The filtration unit is a system consisting of a filter press plate and a filter cloth. The filter press plates used in the sludge dewatering area ensure the separation of liquid and solid materials from each other.<\/p>\n<p>The filter cloth and the filter press plate work in coordination to form the filtration system. The filter press plate provides the solid-liquid removal process smoothly and practically. The material to be separated is connected to the filter press plate and removed from the system through the filter cloth.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the filter press mechanism is to reduce the amount of water in the solid content of the purification mechanisms. During this process, chemical substance is added to the sludge and the amount of liquid substance is removed from the system. Sludge with increased solids content occupies less volume.<\/p>\n<p>In the filter press mechanism, the filtration process takes place by filtering the liquid-solid sludge through the filter cloths attached to the filter press plates. Solid particles are collected between the filter press plates and move with the logic of throwing the liquid phase out of the equipment. Solid-liquid matter is filtered with the help of filter cloth and collected in filter press plates.
